Stumbled on this TV clip which stirred memories of both Valleys. Went (by foot) to Ystrad many times as a boy. (and Cwmamman).

Yes It had come on Maerdy home page in the previous 6 hours, but surprised that Ron Carey hadn't put up Part 2 at the same time which I came across on u-tube.
Follows the river path from the old Junior school to Maerdy and beyond.
