Who was there then

Postby tannatt » Thu Jul 26, 2012 2:41 pm

My GGrandfather, Edward Tannatt, died in Q2 1908 at 39 Dyffryn Street, Ferndale, Glamorgan. Does anyone have information on who was living in that house at that time, please?

The 1911 census shows a family with the surname Simons living there.

My Great-Grandparents were living there in 1901 (Census) My Greatgrandmother died from there in 10 Sep 1905. However my greatgrandfather was at 26 Pleasant Hill by 1911 not sure when he moved.

They were Henry & Mary Ann Palmer

Interesting point here, as my great-grandparents moved around Blaenllechau - 3 different census returns and three different addresses! At least their removal costs were minimal!!
