Hi all,

looking for relatives or more information on

Williams Edward (Eddie) G., who was born in Ferndale, but lived at Tylorstown.
I already know some things on him :

son of Mr Tom Williams (late winding engineer at No8 Pit)
Tynant Penrhysroad

he was Lance Corporal 200788 in the Tank Corps and was killed on october 9th 1917 in Poelkapelle Belgium in tank Damon II under commander Coghlan.

He was educated at the Tylorstown Boys' School and the Ferndale Secondary school, teaching for some time at the former school

At his enlistment het was engineer dat the local collieries

He was a member of Sion Calvinistic Method Church

We found an article in a newspaper out of 1917 with a photo of him.

We would like to find relatives to let them know we did find evidence for this last resting place, up to now he was missed.

• Pte Williams E.G. 200788, KIA, presumably also buried near the tank in Poelkapelle, mentioned on Tyne Cot
