Salvation Army Officer Ferndale 1922 Violet Evans

I would welcome any information on the Ferndale Salvation Army of 1922 era.My grandmother Violet Maud Evans (born Swansea 1897)was the Officer in 1922.I have dailed information on her husband and relatives.
Violet was abandoned by her mother in 1900 and spent the next 14 years in an orphanage so her move to Ferndale is a mystery.
