John, you are without doubt a diamond - well done and I shall start listing all the names that I know together with all yours.

Due to the vast diverse area we all live, I know a reunion would be out of the question..........but what a time we'd all have. Sadly, quite a lot may not be with us, but my memories of those are with me.

Again, many thanks from the most computer illiterate still doing the basics.

Glad to be of help here - I can just about manage to reassign cut outs on Paintshop pro, so it didn't take that long in the end to make it facebook friendly.

Some notes on tagging :-
1/please centre the crosshairs on the chin or or tie knot where possible, then when the box comes up, the diagonals will leave no doubt the position of who it is

edit note - with new style FB tags its better to put crosshairs on the forehead


2/ Should there be any uncertainty about the identity, please make a note here, then I will remove the most unlikely tag if it gets a conflicting entry.
3/ Finally spelling - same action.

Based on the 9 photos John has put on facebook and in the order he has starting from the extreme left hand with the ladies:-
PHOTO NUMBER ONE
Standing at very end:- Eluned Phillips?-became head of Ferndale Junior School I think.
2nd from left sitting:- Ann Phillips - Phil Pillips daughter.
Going from Eluned, No 7 is a Meyrick not sure of first name.
Next to her is Sheila Jones - from Blaenllechau
Next but one to her is Sandra Forward.

Top left on back row is **** Moulds with an unusual first name - Deilwen I think - also from Blaenllechau
3rd from right sitting is Lynn Phillips - sister to Keith Phillips.
Girl in front of Last girl on right in back row is Myrna Langdon - lived in Elm Street I think.
The girl behind Myrna to the left was from Maerdy, can't think of name yet but remember her.
Girl next to Mary Thomas (North Road) I also remember - 50 years is a long time!!

Girl behind Mavis Webber to the right is Gwilethyn Jones - sister to Edrid Jones - always in the top three in our form.
Next but one to her is Susan Roberts - married John Allen, then Pauline Brockman, then Eleri Thomas.
Behind Eleri to the right is Janet Jones - was living in North Road near my parents in mid 90's.
The girl in front of the teacher at extreme right end is Jeanette ?? and lived at the top end of North Road.

Three down, six to go, so bear with me and apologies I'm not clued up enough to put names on the photos.

Yes I went to Ferndale Grammar as did all my 4 sisters.

Patricia started grammar in 1958
Elaine in 1960
Iris in 1962
David & Dilys in 1965

2nd is Mary Hughes, 3rd is Gillian Radcliffe and 5th is Tricia Dennis (father police sergeant).

Back row of the girls the middle one is Carol Jones - sister to John Elwyn Jones

Back row of Boys from the girls - 2nd in is Roy Harris - lived in North Road opposite me and 7th in Terry Thomas from George Street, Blaenllechau.

In front of back row - and in front of roy Harris is Selwyn Evans, then Michael Hudson, John Allen, Alan Hudson and Glyn Rogers.

1st is Russell Jenkins 3rd is Gareth Gaynor.
Gerald Humphries is marked and behind him and to the right is David Thomas from Blaenllechau.
Behind David is Erroll Knott and behind Victor Cooper is one of the "Lewis" brothers from Taff Street.

Extreme left hand side is Jimmy Fisher.
2nd from left sitting on the floor is ?? Radcliffe - Gillian's brother.
Seated 3rd from right is ?? Willmore??

In front of back row from the left is 2nd in Keith Phillips (emigrated to Australia), then me - Brian Evans, then Sidney Tibbles.
In between the 2nd & 3rd from the left sitting down is Clinton Fox.
5th from the left sitting down is Timothy Richards - lived in big house overlooking park.
John Maliphant is sitting on extreme right. Sitting on floor 2nd from right is John Pope from Blaenllechau.
Big lad with open-neck shirt I think is called Tutton??

Behind the lad in the wheelchair is Tecwyn Jones - son of "Titch Jones - teacher"?
Next but one to him going left is Jeff Williams, Glenn Biddle and then Spenser Wilshire.
On the back row, 3rd from right is someone called ??Addie - I think.

That is all I can remember, and my sincere apologies for not being computer efficient to put these names on the photo.

By the way, somewhere within the boxes I have, there is a blazer badge of FGS.
