My EVANS family were at 22 High Street (now Barclays Bank)
John Evans 1842 - 1891 He was a Miner and later in life a gents barber
Jennet Evans 1846 - 1906
Children
Mary Jane Evans 1865-1941 married John Madders and went to Queensland, Australia.
Elizabeth Ann Evans 1867-1921 married William Owen Hayes lived in Union Street
William John Evans 1868-1931 married Mary Jane Pugh lived in Pleasant Hill
Rachel Louisa Evans 1871-1897 died at 22 High Street
David Evans 1872 - 1927 married Mary Hannah Wiltshire Lived in Pontygwaith
Thomas Evans 1875-???? married Elizabeth McCullough lived in New Street
Henry Christmas Evans 1877-1935 never married lived in Hill Terrace
Sarah Blodwen Evans 1880-1953 married Caswallon Davies lived in Hill Terrace
Joseph Evans 1882-???? believed he lived in Tylorstown
Miriam Evans 1886-1970 married John Mathais lived in Blaenllechau
Garfield Evans 1889-1965 moved to and married in Queensland, Australia.

my grandfathers grandmother was rachel louisa evans later married william anthony would love anymore info

I had not been on the forum for a long time so did not see the note from David. It was through this site that I was able to get in contact with David but unfortunately with work and other commitments I was not able to keep the contact going. Still hoping that David gets to see my message. Thanks.
