This must be North Road Infants too? It looks like some of the same people as the Standard 5W in Roger's photos, so 1957/8?

Just seen your names for your photo! Not Hilary Fox - she was one of our group of 5 who went to County in 1957.

Well this photo was probably taken in 53/4 (yes N. Road Infants) and is generally the same group as 5W in 1956/7 (Juniors) so it would not be out of place if Hillary went to Porth County in 1957 perhaps she was bright enough and old enough to go Juniors at a different time.

However it was only a guess the faces look remarkably similar.

So, you went off to Porth County then Sheila?

Guess that's the middle girl on the top row judging by the identical hairstyle! I didn't know her and many kids came and went with family moves.

John, I went to Blaenllechau Infants before going to the Junior School by the river, where WE all chansed after the ball when it went over the wall into the river - didn't we??
Hilary Fox lived near me in North Road, her mother taught me Maths in my last year in Grammar, and there were times when she and I tried to get around a maths problem without Hilkary having to ask her mum.
I've now decided that I am not going senile as this site has brought back so many memories - thanks.
