Ferndale Theatre 1913

My grandfather DAVID SYRIA WILLIAMS was theatre-manager at the Ferndale Theatre in 1913.
I have a gold "fob chain medallion" engraved; "from the Theatre Staff, Ferndale , Dec 1913".
I believe he left Wales about that time and settled in Jersey, Channel Islands, where he was also a theatre manager.
Are there any historical records from that time that might refer to him?
He lived at 37 Bute St, Treorchy in 1908 according to my father's birth certificate.
