You're all most welcome. Now it's up an running it's barely any trouble at all.

Although I've never lived in Ferndale myself, both my parents and my first sibling were born there, and I've visited a good few times over the years. I made contact with a few interesting people on the previous site, including a second cousin, so I was very sad to see it disappear, especially its forum. So, when I noticed the domain name (ferndale-wales.co.uk) had become available, I thought I'd resurrect the forum and see if I could attract some people back.

Happy New Year to all of our readers.
For a change I think I am the first post of the year - welcome to 2014.
Last year was a mixed year, highs and lows, laughter and tears, welcomed the new, said goobye to old friends- especially Roger Woods.
Let us all make a wish for a healthy 2014 and look forward to the future with hope and belief.
Be happy not sad, look to the bright side not gloom.
Wish the best for your enemies as well as your friends.
