Roller rink

My memory must be fading but I think that there used to be a roller rink in the 1950's Am I correct. Eirwen

We used to go roller skating in Tylorstown. The rink was half way down the big hill to Pontygwaith, directly opposite the police station and next door to Seal's garage.

The roller rink I am thinking of was in one of the roads below Duffryn Street. But maybe I have got it all wrong.
