no dave,my grandfather and brothers left ferndale, came to cornwall in 1926,his father thomas worked down ferndale pit.they lived in francis street.

Thomas Jones and Elizabeth are very popular names Mandy.

I've got a few weeks on Ancestry & can find out for you Mandy but as much info on Dates of Birth (both) and place of birth (both) and if poss date of Marriage and place of banns and residence in all cases would help cut the odds.

we think he married his first wife,florence m jones in pontyridd 3rd qtr 1925 ref 11a1279.
they had a daughter "flossie",presume florence.
as far as we aware both his first wife and child died quite soon after
if this is of any help for any family info i would be happy.
